Access Platforms
Special Constructions
Boldman have manufactured staging and platforms for clients in diverse industries from aerospace, marine, military and nuclear to pharmaceutical, confectionery, rapid transport and engineering.
Working Platforms
Manufactured from a range of modular aluminium profiles and bolted together to infinite configurations to meet customer requirements.
Maintenance Platforms
These platforms are ideal for engaging in high access maintenance work safely and can be adapted to meet a wide range of requirements and applications.
Fuel Truck Platforms
These platforms are designed for servicing, repair, maintenance work and supervisory use during loading and unloading of products. As a standard feature, our fuel truck platforms are fitted with grooved non slip aluminium profiles. Depending on the size of the access platform required, safety ballast weight can be added.
Power Operated Working Platforms
Using winches, rack and pinion, electrical and hydraulic height adjustment methods that provide the users with an infinite combination of working at height solutions. The platforms are provided with steering castors, ground locks, handrails and stairs that have variable inclinations and in the case of electrical actuation central control panels.
Platform, Steps and Stairs
Are provided with anti-slip covering, grooved non-slip surfaces, steel or fibre glass grating. The modular hand railing system uses 40mm dia aluminium tube and cast fittings to provide the complete safety of your workforce.
Bridging Steps
Manufactured from modular aluminium profiles and a range of non-slip surfaces with stairs that can be fitted to the front or longitudinal to the platform. Hand railing to one side or both sides is optional as are safety access doors. Bridging steps or platform stairs are primarily used for access over conveyor lines, any type of production line including the servicing of equipment or storage tanks
Variable inclined stairs
Variable inclined stairs have a travelling mechanism at their base, hand railing to both sides and standard attachment method to platforms. The range of inclination is 60° through to 45° and 30° with a max height at 60° of 2.8 metres. Variable height steps can be used on any platforms that are required to be variable in height.
Dock Systems for the aerospace industry
Our docking systems have been designed for the installation, servicing and inspection work on all types of aircraft. Up to 3 working levels, height adjustable platforms and access via stairs to all levels, the docking platforms are fitted with protective edges and kick rails. The platform surfaces are solid non-slip to provide against FOD (foreign, object, debris).
