Our customers in the nuclear industry rely on us to develop baling technology in order to reduce the size of radioactive parts and hazardous materials.
OUR SOLUTION
We have designed a mobile size reduction baler that will be situated at our customer’s premises in order to compact and bale highly radioactive filters. The baler is designed and manufactured to the highest standards under stringent quality control systems, to ensure that they stand the test of time. The equipment underwent a full programme of factory acceptance tests to demonstrate compliance with our customer’s specification and all relevant Health and Safety documentation.
RESULTS
This represents a highly economical means of disposing of waste: once the radioactive parts and hazardous materials go through the size reduction baler the manageable bales can then be disposed of according to regulations and with minimised risk.
