Boldman designed, manufactured and built one of the largest ever aluminium profile structures over a fully fuelled and armed Nimrod aircraft at BAE SYSTEMS, Warton facility for aircraft lightning strike trials. Click for details.

Boldman design and manufacture a second generation, multi-axis diamond wire cutting machine for the Atomic Weapons Establishment. The machine is used for size reduction of highly radioactive equipment prior to long-term storage of cut parts.
7 giant screens installed at the new British Airways T5 terminal, Heathrow opened by the Queen on March 14th 2008. Boldman designed, manufactured and installed the aluminium supporting structures back to 5 glass towers and then fitted 154 LED panels to each of the aluminium profile structures.
Rolls Royce asked Boldman to design and manufacture environmental protection covers for the industrial Trent engine. Nineteen light-weight panels manufactured from the Paletti aluminium profile system clip around and over the top of the engines during transportation around the world.
BAE SYSTEMS wanted to develop a new assembly manufacturing method for its Eurofighter aeroplane. Boldman helped BAE design and develop the first reconfigurable modular assembly tooling using aluminium profiles. A complete suit of tools is used in the manufacture of the Eurofighter fin supplied by Boldman. This development carried forwarded into JSF manufacture.
Aircelle needed to streamline their composite manufacturing facility in Burnley. Using 6m lengths of 120 x 120 aluminium profiles supported from aluminium profile brackets above false ceilings in a massive clean room facility, the profiles carry air and vacuum which is piped down to the composite manufacturing area.
The Diamond synchrotron light source is the largest scientific facility to be built in the UK for nearly thirty years. Diamond, based at Harwell Science and Innovation Campus came to Boldman for protective aluminium profile barriers to segregate areas within the facility. The protective barriers are shut and locked once a safety team has inspected each section area to make certain no personnel are inside prior to experiments taking place.
The Denford Vertical Router is a large format CNC Router, combining high speed machining over a large working area with space saving engineering. Manufactured from the Boldman range of aluminium profiles and linear slides with inspired design that provides excellent production capabilities and ease of installation as the Vertical Router will fit through a standard door frame.
The state of the art UK headquarters of Invertek Ltd houses specialist facilities for research, development and manufacturing electronic variable speed drives for controlling electric motors. Invertek came to Boldman to design and manufacture their new production lines.
